Shannon Mulvey

She/Her

Shannon Mulvey is a performer and theatre maker working across theatre and performance art in the UK and internationally. She graduated from Rose Bruford College with a First Class degree and is the founding member and Artistic Director of the intersectional feminist performance collective Sisters of Eden, whose award-winning work has been presented at Camden People’s Theatre, Wandsworth Fringe, Sprungturm Festival (Germany), Anatomy Festival (Edinburgh), Clout! Festival Studio 3 Arts, and Live Art Club VFD, with support from the Live Art Development Agency.

As a solo artist and actor, she has performed at Emergency 24 Manchester, Tate Modern, Haphazard Festival, Gardzienice Theatre (Poland), and has appeared on BBC, ITV, and Channel 5. Shannon is also the Assistant Head of a BA (Hons) Acting Programme.

After seeing The Neo-Futurists perform in Chicago in 2015, Shannon fell in love and knew she wanted to make work just like them- then she became a fox! Her work is autobiographical, politically charged, and rebellious, blending humour with a neofuturist love of direct audience interaction- so watch out!
