Alexia Chrysostomou
They/She/He
Alexia Chrysostomou makes stuff; stuff that is queer, weird and wonderful, with representation at its core.
Coined a 'Gonzo Poet', Alexia spreads the word of Kinky Death Poetry all around London: a mantra to yell when you don't quite know what else to do. Alexia's performing, writing and producing has earned them many accolades. These include originating the role of Ratchet at Edinburgh Fringe for Studio Brunel’s Bear Hands (2022), Nic Lawton called this an ‘unexpected gem of a show’, and short film All Change (2025) earning Best Performance at the No Reason Film Fest, on which she was Rehearsal Lead and Script Editor.
Alexia also has a first class degree in Film Production and Theatre BA (Hons), its only use being a piece of paper Alexia can waft in people’s faces, occasionally, including her own.
Alexia is currently devising and being Mike with Fruit Bowl Theatre in Who Gave You The Mic?, due to be at The Camden People’s Theatre in March 2026.
Alexia’s favourite word is ‘and’. A close second being ‘the’ followed by ‘but’, which could be a sentence on its own if you clenched hard enough.
